Dress Code
Dress Code
One of the most common issues we face at Beach Camp is dress code, and we want to get ahead of it this year by asking for your help. As guests at Fort Caswell and representatives of Hopewell, we are committed to following all guidelines set forth by both.
Students should not wear
-two-piece bikini bathing suits
-short shorts
-tank tops
-spaghetti straps or one-shoulder/halter/strapless tops—including on dresses.
-T-shirts or clothing with offensive language, advertisements, or inappropriate images are not allowed.
-No sweatshirts longer than your shorts
Shorts must be at least fingertip length when arms are resting by your side.
We know this can be tough, but we want to reflect Christ in all that we do—including how we dress. 1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Our goal is not to be legalistic, but to be respectful, modest, and an example to others. Let’s work together to avoid distractions and represent Jesus well all week long.
